Join settler artist Alex McKay to hear about one of the Museum's newest acquisitions, the Treaty Canoe Replica. Alex's work explores the intersections of landscape, place, empire and identity, and especially "the often fraught relationship between the Dominant Euro settler culture and First Nations in Canada". The Treaty Canoe is a brilliant example of this.
