Professor Clare Harris will give a talk exploring her experience of working with the internationally celebrated performance artist Marina Abramović at the Pitt Rivers. The artist undertook a research residency at the museum in August 2021, from which she created the site-specific installation Marina Abramović @ Pitt Rivers Museum now on display in the heart of the galleries, featuring new video works The Witch Ladder and Presence and Absence, alongside drawings of objects from the collections.
Everyone welcome. Doors open at 18.00 and refreshments will be served. Talk starts at 18.30.
