Mohammad Al Awad is a former assistant professor in the History and Archaeology department of Damascus University and holds a master's degree in history and archaeology from Lyon University, France. Unable to return to his home country of Syria due to the conflict, he moved to the UK three years ago and started work as a volunteer in the Multaka-Oxford Project. In this free gallery talk Mohammad talks about how working in Visitor Services at Pitt Rivers Museum allows him to be an ambassador for Arab and Islamic culture.
