Join us for a hands-on introduction to Tahriri, a traditional Palestinian embroidery technique known for its flowing, intricate couching stitches using metallic threads.
In this workshop, you'll be guided step-by-step through the fundamentals of Tahriri, learning how to create elegant motifs using gold thread on fabric. This technique has been used for generations to embellish garments with depth, texture and storytelling.
Whether you're a complete beginner or have some embroidery experience, this session offers a unique opportunity to engage with Palestinian textile heritage in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
